It has very good emulsification and suspension properties to leave washed articles cleaner and brighter.
Do not use on wool or silk.
For industrial, institutional and commercial laundries where washing machines are supplied by Automatic Liquid Detergent Feed Systems.
It functions as a breakwash and also as the builder-adjunct to the companion products LAUNDRY DETERGENT and LAUNDRY BRIGHTENER.

1. Sort laundry by color and fabric type.
2. Always read and follow care directions.
3. From care directions, choose proper wash cycle and water temperature.
4. Do not overload washer with soiled laundry.
5. Do not pour Liquid Alkali directly onto dry clothing.
6. Add Liquid Alkali during the presoak stage or before addingLaundry Detergent.
a. Add 120 - 180 ml per 45kg of dry, soiled laundry, depending on soil load.
b. Check alkalinity concentration of the wash water during this step. It is recommended that the concentration of active alkalinity be between 300 - 800 ppm.
• When using Liquid Alkali, the wash water must be properly neutralized with Laundry Detergent, during the final rinse, before washed clothing is worn.
• Liquid Alkali is not recommended for use with top loading washers not equipped with automatic dosing systems. Fiber damage and corroding may occur.
• Do not place Liquid Alkali on dry fabric, fabric degradation will occur.

Read label before use. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Avoid inhaling vapour, use only with adequate ventilation.
Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses when using or handling this product (PPE Gear).
If skin rash or irritation occurs get medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin with plenty of soap and water. If swallowed, immediately call Poisons Centre (0800 POISON) or get medical attention. Do NOT induce vomiting.
If medical advice is needed, have product or label at hand.
In case of fire use CO2 dry chemical or foam extinguisher. Absorb spilled liquid with sand or inert material.
Store locked up, in a well-ventilated place and keep containers cool.
Avoid release to the environment. Do not allow to enter drains or waterways. Dispose of this material and its container to a hazardous or special waste collection point.
Never mix chemicals together.
